When configuring your Eagle system it is important to select the right type of firmware installed on the system. Today there are 3 options:
DOS version: FreeDOS and DosLog are installed on the power supply flash. This gives you the standard datalogger capabilities which can be combined with your own c-programming.
IsaGRAF™ version: FreeDOS and IsaGRAF is installed on the power supply flash disk. This gives full IEC 61131 PLC support for the Eagle I/O modules including the datalogger function.
Linux version: The Linux system in the Micronix Eagle is installed on an IDE compatible Flash-based DOM (Disk On Module) with a capacity of at least 8 MB. This enables connection to the Eagle via TCP/IP.
